Fried Pumpkin Fritters



Ingredient 1. Pumpkin - 1/4 fruit (skinned n slice to 0.5cm thick) 2. Tempura Batter mix powder - 150g 3. Ice Cold Water - 280ml


Preparation 1. Mix the tempura batter powder with the ice cold water and mix them well.


2. Once the batter is smooth, dip the sliced pumpkin into the batter.


The Dish 1. Heat up the frying wok using medium heat and add in sufficient oil.


2. Once the oil is hot enough, take a piece of pumpkin from the batter and place it into the hot oil and deep fry it till lightly golden brown.


3. Once the pumpkin floats on surface, its more or less ready. Just allow it the fry a while longer to reach slightly golden brown and remove from the oil.


4. Allow the item to drip dry before serving it.


Actually one can cut the pumpkin into strips like french fries and fry them to serve as fries. Taste wonderful too.
