BBQ Durian
Wanted to try out the myth of BBQ durian. Since my friends and I is having a BBQ Session, we decided to try it out.
Direction 1. Place an unopen durian over a BBQ pit
2. Every 5 to 10mins turn the durian to a different side.
3. Repeat the process until the durian cracks open by itself.
4. Once it cracks, continue to BBQ it for about another 15mins and remember to rotate it.
5. Remove it for BBQ Stove and peel open durian.
6. Use a spoon to eat the durian. Avoid using a disposable plastic spoon as it might be too hot.
The taste
1. Taste like normal durian just that its hot.
2. Texture is similar to hot durian puree and very soft. Softer than normal.
3. Smells a bit similar to those brown colour durian cake roll. (Cooked durian)
Actually not very fascinating. The elder generation don't quite like the taste and prefer the normal temperature or refrigerated ones.
