Stir-fried Minced Meat with Canned Young Corn and Basil Leave Paste

Ingredient 1. Minced meat - 250g 2. Canned young corn - 1 can (cut into bite size if necessary) 3. Green chilli padi - 5 pcs (cut into small pieces) if you like it spicy replace with red chilli padi but need to add moderately. 4. Oyster sauce - 1 tbsp 5. Fish sauce - 1tbsp 6. Dark soya sauce -1tbsp 7. Light soya sauce - 0.5 tbsp 8. Thai basil leave sauce - 2 tsp 9. Minced garlic -3 cloves worth 10. Sugar - 0.5 to 1 tbsp (base on your preference) 11. Cherry tomatoes - 8 pcs (half them)


The Dish 1. Add some oil to wok and stir fry the minced garlic and cut chilli using low heat


2. Once you feel the slight sneezing sensation, it would mean that the mixture is ready. Add in the minced pork and continue to stir fry till its less pink.


3. Add 4 tbsp of water to the pork n continue to mix the pork.


4. Once the water starts to boil, add in all the mentioned sauce, sugar, canned young corns and mixed well.


5. Taste ur dish. Basing on ur own preferences, add in more of the desired sauce.


6. You may add some corn starch to ur dish if u prefer to have the slight sticky feel for ur dish. If you prefer it to be slightly wet, ignore this step.


7. When the dish is almost ready, add in the halved cherry tomatoes, mixed them a while (approx. 5 secs), off the heat and you are ready to serve your dish.


This dish goes very well with plain rice and a fried egg.
