Shabu Shabu Collar Shoulder Pork Stir-fry with Yellow Onion and Sweet Basil Leaves. (2pax)


Ran out of ideas with to cook for dinner. Went to supermarket to shop around saw that the Shabu Shabu pork is on offer, so decided to buy a packet to stir-fry.

Ingredients 1. Shabu Shabu Collar Shoulder Pork - 1pkt (250g) 2. Yellow Onion - 1 bulb (slice) 3. Oyster sauce - 1tbsp 4. Sugar - 0.5 tbsp 5. Sweet Basil Leaves - a handful 6. Salted chilli paste - 1 tsp 7. Salt - to taste 8. Water - 2 to 3 tbsp


Preparation 1. Ensure that u have fully defrost the pork.

The Dish 1. Heat wok with high heat, add 2 tbsp of oil and introduce the sliced onion. Continue to saute till it soften and add in the salted chilli paste.


2. Once the chilli fragrant is out, add in the oyster sauce and the meat. Do mix them well till the meat is no longer pink.




3. Add 2 tbsp of water to the dish, bring it to boil and add in 0.5tbsp of sugar. Stir-fry it well.


4. Lastly add in the Sweet basil leaves, mixed it for 15secs, off the heat and you are ready to serve.


You may serve this with some plain rice and a fried egg.
