Air Fried Honey Glazed Chicken Drumstick

Could not make up my mind how to serve this chicken that I wanted to do. Can't decide on rice or noodles. Happened to bought some Kolo noodles, so I just make used of it. Turns out to be quite nice.

Ingredients

1. Chicken drumstick - 2pcs 2. Fish sauce - 1tbsp 3. Sesame oil - 2tsp 4. Five spice powder - 0.5tsp 5. White pepper - 0.5 tsp 6. Cooking wine - 1.5 cap 7. Sugar - 1 tbsp 8. Red fermented beancurd - 1pc 9. Light soy sauce - 1 tbsp 10. Oyster sauce - 1 tbsp

Preparation

1. Marinate the drumsticks with all the mentioned ingredients less honey.


2. Marinate it for at least 4 hrs. Will taste better if can marinate overnight.


3. 2hrs before cooking it, rub some honey onto the drumstick and left it uncover in the fridge.


The Dish

1. Pre-heat air fryer for 2mins at 180degrees.


2. Rub some dark soy sauce(1tsp) on the drumstick and Place the drumstick in with the skin facing up and set timer to 8mins at same temperature.


3. Once times up, turn the drumsticks around for an even colouring and set timer for another 5mins.


4. 5mins later , turn the drumsticks around with the skin facing up and apply the honey onto the skin. Set time for 5 mins and continue to AF the chicken. Once in a while check on the chicken to prevent the skin from burnt. Once already, you may serve your chicken.


I served my honey glazed chicken drumstick with kolo noodles which I bought from JB. I also pour out some of the chicken oil when I concoct the sauce for the noodles. I very nice fulfilling meal.
