Steamed Muar Fish Otah, Fishcake with Bee Hoon (1 to 2 pax)
Not sure whether have I posted something similar, but guess no harm to do it again for sharing. Bought some Muar fish otah so decided to do something simple for brunch as I am too lazy to go out for a meal.

Ingredient 1. Muar fish otah - 1pc 2. Fish cake - 1pc 3. Bee Hoon - 1 to 2 square pc 4. Vegetarian oyster sauce - 1 to 2 tsp 5. Sesame oil - 1tsp 6. Cooking wine - 2 tsp 7. Fish sauce - 1 tsp
Preparation 1. Soak the bee Hoon in hot water for 10 mins or more till soften. 2. Once the bee Hoon is no longer hard and chewy, drain off the water. 3. Mixed the mentioned sauce well with the bee Hoon together with 1.5tbsp of water. The Dish 1. Place the bee Hoon at the base of the plate, place the frozen Otah onto top of bee hoon together with the fish cake. 2. Steam it for 15mins (starting from the time when water starts to boil). 3. Once done, serve the dish with some chilli paste. I quite prefer serve it with 老干妈 chilli. Happy cooking and Bon Appetit!
