Bacon Bits Fried Rice (2pax)
Ran out of ideas on what to cook for dinner. Went to the nearest supermarket to look for ideas n saw packeted bacon bits n decided to try. After some considerations n decided on Fried rice.

Ingredient 1. Cooked rice - 2 bowl 2. Yellow onion - 1 small one (diced) 3. Egg - 1 pc 4. Raw Bacon bits - 100g 5. Mixed veg - 0.5 bowl 6. Prawns - 6 PCs ( de-shell) 7. Salt - 1tsp (add more if desired) 8. Pepper 9. Red Chilli - 1 PC (sliced)
Preparation 1. Beat an egg well n pour it into the rice n mixed it well.
The Dish 1. Heat wok with medium heat and add 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Pour in the raw bacon bits and continue to stir fry it till the bits shrink in size.
2. Add the diced onion and saute till fragrance, add the mixed veg, mixed well, turn up the heat and add in the Pre-mix rice.
3. Continue to stir fry and mixed everything well.
4. Push aside the rice and add in the de-shelled prawns and quickly pan fry them till they turned red and mixed them into the rice.
5. Add the desired amount of salt. Always remember to add bit by bit if you are unsure till you reached your desired amount.
6. Add in the sliced chilli and stir fry it into the fried rice for additional colouring.
7. Add some pepper before serving it.
You may serve this dish with an fried egg and sausages if you like. There is nothing special about this dish or anything that needed special attention. Just spend more time stir frying the rice so that every grain is nicely cooked/fried.
